Glass Collection
Plate glass is collected using skip lorries. These skips, varying from 4 cu yard to 9 cu yard in size, are located at premises of such sites as glaziers and windscreen companies.
Rates for the collection vary according to the size of skip and location of the site but start at £10 per week. There is no charge for the Duty of Care: Waste Transfer Note
Bulk collections, using 40 cu yard roll-on roll-off skips, are available from waste transfer stations.
Our drivers are always mindful of the fact that customer service is still a high priority.
All glass collected is recycled in order to reduce the demands on landfill and at the same time preserve some of the natural resources of the country.
